Dark Side of the Rainbow~*~Dark Side of the Rainbow~*~ The classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was written in 1899 by L. Frank Baum. In 1939, MGM Studios made a musical-style movie production of The Wizard of Oz which featured Judy Garland as the main character Dorothy. The movie contained many songs such as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "If I Only Had a Brain," "We're Off to See the Wizard," and "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead." The film was popular from the beginning and has retained its popularity for over sixty years. In 1973, the popular rock band Pink Floyd released an album entitled Dark Side of the Moon. SONICFLOOd~*~SONICFLOOd~*~ One of the hottest current Christian praise and worship bands is SONICFLOOd. SONICFLOOd is made up of lead singer and guitarist Rick Heil, keyboard player David Alan, bass guitarist Thomas Michael, lead guitarist Todd Shay, and drummer Brett Vargason. So far, the band as it now stands has only released two CDs. Resonate was released in 2001 and Cry Holy was released in early 2003. Resonate included the songs "Lord of the Dance," "You Are the Holy One," "Resonate," "I Lift My Eyes Up," "Fuel," "Write Your Name Upon My Heart," "Dear Lord," "Your Love," "Holy and Anointed One," "Lord Over All," and "In Your Hands."
